When it comes to support for local business, the Skipton and Ripon Enterprise Group’s (SREG) mentors are happy to give their time without fee or favour, and have worked with hundreds of business leaders from every sector and size of organisation. Their work is entirely confidential and conducted on a ‘one-to-one’ basis and so there is little opportunity to meet other mentors and other business leaders.

NH Gardens 2019 (1)

…………so an evening in the gardens at Newby Hall was a great occasion to remedy that and to celebrate SREG’s successes.

Mentors and their mentees had fabulous evening wandering the gardens and enjoying drinks and canapés in the newly refurbished orangery where Sarah Barry, Stray FM’s MD, gave an inspiring talk.

Sarah shared how Stray FM’s strong core values; Open, Honest, Fun, Fair, Professional and Unconventional can create a culture of success and make the working environment both enjoyable and highly productive.

SREG’s network of experienced business leaders has helped over 190 businesses to date, and with more businesses looking for mentors, are always interested in attracting both businesses that could benefit from mentoring support and individuals that would like to share their knowledge and become a mentor.
